Székely Traditions – Part 5. The inspiration for this college diploma project towards a degree in the department of education, sociology, and Rom language at Apor Catholic College in Hungary – has been this student’s desire to explore her own Székely heritage. Part 5 continues the spring customs by listing special customs of the week before Easter (the final week of Lent), Easter, and Easter Monday (when among other things folks could finally dance again after Lent when dancing was forbidden), then Whitsuntide (Pentecost) and Corpus Christi.
